The initial survey was informative and the 'ball park' estimation of the costs was the same as the quotation price. My initial impression, after the survey, was of a company that could be trusted and would provide a professional service. The service provided was indeed very good, the execution of the work was efficient and professional, the 'team' were honest and friendly and the finished product was faultless. An initial delay in inserting the liner, caused by a partial collapse of the internal bricking of the chimney, resulted in the duration of the work being extended by about four hours. No extra payment was sought, nobody complained, all four members of the two teams worked hard until the work was finished. My wife and I have been restoring a Victorian house for the last six years, about six companies have worked on different aspects of the restoration, Maginlees is one of the best we have employed. |
